When and where are the events?


Business activities will take place daily from 10AM- 4PM. Except for the real estate tour and summit (8AM sharp).




How will I get to each location?


AGN will arrange all travel accommodations related to the business summit. All private shuttles will pick up attendees at the Sheraton.




If I am running late, can we meet you at the location?


Not necessarily. Most events are not happening in one place. We will be on the go a lot. It’s best to arrive early and be ready to go! If you arrive late, you will likely forfeit your opportunity to attend the event that day.




Do I need to bring cash?


Yes, can exchange some money before you arrive, but you can also withdraw cash from reputable banks. Some venues accept mobile payments as well, but you will primarily be using cash. You should also let your bank know in advance that you are traveling, so that you do not have any issues.





How can I get around generally in Lagos, Nigeria?


Uber and Taxify are rideshare options that you can use to get around in Lagos. Traffic is usually high during this time of year, please add an additional 30mins-1hr to your travel schedule per day




Will I have access to Wifi?


YES! Wifi is included with your stay at the hotel. If you need WiFi when traveling or out and about, we recommend that you get a personal hotspot for the duration of your stay in Nigeria (the hotspot is cheaper than using your wireless carriers WiFi). You will not arrive on the ground with wifi. You will likely have to connect with your local carrier when you arrive on the ground and then buy data from the local data centers (it is much cheaper to by wifi from local carriers). However, may international carriers will allow you to use wifi on your phone.




What if I take medication?


We advise that you bring ALL prescribed and over the counter medications that you use or you think that you will need.




Do I need to bring cash?


Yes, can exchange some money before you arrive, but you can also withdraw cash from reputable banks. Some venues accept mobile payments as well, but you will primarily be using cash. You should also let your bank know in advance that you are traveling, so that you do not have any issues.




I plan to explore Nigeria on my own, is it okay to explore by myself?


No, we do not recommend new or first time travelers exploring Nigeria solo. If you would like to explore, please partner with someone else from the trip and make arrangements together. Also, several attendees will also, want to go places together, so you will likely find someone to go to a place with you.




I would like to travel outside of Lagos, Nigeria, what are your thoughts?


We do not recommend new or first time travelers exploring areas outside of Lagos, Nigeria. If you decide to do so, we highly recommend that you travel with someone else.




Attire: What should I wear?


It is very hot and humid in Nigeria, however, the country is rather conservative. You will find that most people are dressed from head to toe. This is a business and leisure trip, so the attire ranges from business casual to summer casual, summer festive etc. We highly recommend that you dress conservatively particularly in the daytime. However, you can dress more liberally for parties and events. Nigeria can be dusty at times, due to dirt roads, weather and light sandstorms, so please keep that mind





ACCOMMODATIONS

Where are attendees staying?


Registered attendees will stay at the Sheraton Four points in Lagos, VI (the Manhattan of Nigeria).




Are meals included with my registration?


Breakfast is included if you are staying at the AGN selected hotel, the Sheraton which is included in the “Business and Accomodations” registration.Lunch and dinner is on your own




What if I have my own accommodations?


If it is your first time in Nigeria we highly recommend that you stay at the hotel. However, if you have your own accommodations, please register with the “business” ticket. All trip pickups and drop offs will be at the Sheraton Hotel.




What if I want to share a room but don’t know anyone that is attending the trip, will you match me with someone?


Yes, closer to the time of the trip, we will pair individuals that are coming by themselves.
